Revision – Case Studies – Place Specific Detail

Repetition is often the key to remember facts and it is important that you do learn Place Specific detail to back up your case study answers. Remember to reach L3 you need to be able to give a clear sense of place through use of specific detail. These mix and match cards will help you make a start on revising some of the detail we have used in the case studies we have studied at St Ivo.

There is also a blank template below which you can download in Word format to create your own!

Unit 1 – Case study place specific detail mix and match cards (Challenges to the Planet)

Unit 2 – Case study place specific detail mix and match cards (Natural Environments)

Unit 3 – Case study place specific detail mix and match cards (Human Environments)

Revision – Case Studies 1 – Mix and Match

Remember, make good use of case studies and examples is an important part of the exam and you must make sure you know what your case studies/examples are to illustrate the different geographical concepts.

These mix and match ‘sorting’ cards will help you keep going over and familiarising yourself with which case study can be used where (these are specific to those case studies taught at St Ivo).

Simple print and cut out the boxes then mix and match the relevant case study to its description!
